A happy Missy Elliott has discovered that she has a talented “funky white sister,” who can dance and rap all while having the time of her life with a ram horn trumpet.
Meet Mary Halsey, she is a huge fan of Missy and calls herself “Missy Mary.” The music lover shared a video where she was performing Missy’s “Work” at Goddard Memorial State Park as her friend danced and ate her noodles in the background.
Halsey, an assistant at a rehab facility from West Warwick, Rhode Island, has become a viral sensation with over 6 million views.
Missy wrote a sweet note to Halsey that read: “MESSAGE: wait I just found out I have a FUNKY WHITE SISTER.but hold up she brought her homegirl to da cookout too she is the one tiptoeing in the background with a cup of oodles & noodles in her hand. Yo sis done made the elephant sound too. I wasn’t ready for her to say put the cat on you as I told you in a low deep voice. She straight up killed “Work it” with the yea yea yea at the beginning & the sound effects & all my funky white sis ft Miss Tippy Toe in the back.”
Halsey is beyond thrilled that the music legend has seen her video.
The hip-hop head has made tons of fans on social media who told her to keep up the great job, continue to have fun, and unite the world with music.
