Africa has produced “the most beautiful girl in the world,” Jare Ijalana, who is 5 and made headlines after her stunning photo shoot went viral.
Jare, who is from Nigeria, has an older sister named Jomi Ijalana who is equally stunning and is also a model.
Brilliant photographer Mofe Bamuyiwa, who captured Jare’s innocence and beauty in a series of breathing portraits, is back at it — this time with Jomi.
Mofe said it was a pleasure working with Jomi because not only is she beautiful, she is poised and very bright.
Mofe shared: “J O M I -The elder sister of J A R E. When I was a child, I always wanted to wear my Mum’s shoes, clothes and do all she did as a woman. I wasn’t afraid of being that woman, though I wasn’t aware, nothing scared me of the cost it would take to be a woman. “I WAS FEARLESS AS A CHILD “ I’m sure every girl has gone through this stage and can relate. ”
The gifted artist continued with: “Meeting Jomi was more inspiring. Asides that she is bright and beautiful, she is very coordinated and every pose directed, she did better than I told her to do. She undoubtedly has buttressed and given me more proof that every little girl dreams of being a woman. I guess looking for a platform to showcase her inner woman !!! Photography is my small way of expressing my thoughts than in words, and so I am not the best curator of my work. Be inspired.”
Those sisters seem destined for great things.
