MahoganyBooks is a Black-owned, family-run independent bookstore founded by Derrick A. Young and Ramunda Lark Young. Created to make books written for, by and about people of the African Diaspora easier to discover, the business has grown from an online bookseller into a community-centered bookstore with physical locations in Prince George’s County, Maryland.
